I first made my prediction for the graph which is the solid brown or blue line then the actual graph which is the dots every second. I know that i was off but i'm not really to far off so i personally think im pretty close. My graphs are a little off because i wasn't fully understanding how much slope i should put on the beginning of my graph and also the stopping part where it stalls is where i messed up at.
The domains and ranges of these graphs are as follows: The 21 inch ramps domain is 0-37 and the range is 0-about 64. The 14 inch ramps domain is 0-37 and the range is 0-about 56. And the 7 inch ramps domain was 0-17, and the range was 0-about 41. The 3 graphs all start at zero and none of them cross the x axis again so that could be similar. the 21 inch graphs maximum is 64. the 14 inch graphs maximum is at 56 and the 7 inch graphs maximum is 41. there similar by their starting points but there maximums are different. The 21 inch graph rises the fast between 1 second and 2 seconds because it just came off the ramp. and the fastest when it comes back down was between 20-21 seconds because there are going back to the ramp and thats the fastest speed. The 14 inch ramps fastest rising slope is between 1-2 second because it just came off the ramp and the fastest slope when its coming back is between 22-23 seconds because thats the fastest speed it hits when it comes back. The 7 inch ramps fastest rising slope is between 1-2 seconds because it just came off the ramp and there is no decreasing slope because it never decreases. Im sure that you are wondering what i am doing here so let me explain it a little bit. Mr. kelly got a skateboard and three different size ramps we had to watch each video for each ramp then we had to take a guess on how the graph would like like( which is the lines on each graph) then we watched each graph in slow motion. and each second we had to put a dot for how far it went. and then we had to do this blog to show you what we did and answer these questions. |
